Administrator (Engineering)
Salary - £13 p/h
Hours - 37 Hours per Week, Flexible start between 7:30am and 9am Monday - Friday, 30 minute lunch break, 1pm Finish Fridays

Location - Liversedge

Temporary - Permanent

Are you an organised and proactive individual seeking a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join a dynamic team based in Huddersfield.

We're seeking an Administrator to join a small, close-knit team within an engineering environment. This temp-to-perm role provides the chance to step into a crucial position, where you'll be working alongside administrators and other dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will bring energy, confidence, and a proactive attitude, ready to handle enquiries, process orders, and deliver top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer enquiries via. Phone and email.
  • Becoming familiar with product range.
  • Providing accurate quotations using SAP and Salesforce.
  • Ensuring pricing aligns with standard margins.
  • Processing orders.
  • Updating customers throughout the order process, liaising with operations when needed.
  • Conducting reviews on contracts.
  • Managing documentation for non-standard products.
  • Preparing files for the engineering team.
  • Liaising with colleagues and providing support as needed.
  • General ad-hoc administrative duties as required.

Key requirements of the Administrator:

  • Outgoing and approachable attitude, with confidence to pick up the phone and engage with customers.
  • Prior experience in administration, ideally within an engineering or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with quoting, order processing, and customer service is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency in using CRM and ERP systems, particularly SAP and Salesforce.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Numerical proficiency is essential.
