Job Description

Assemblers / Machine Operator

Location: Huddersfield
Duration: Temporary to permanent
Hourly rate: £11.44 - £12p/h
Working Hours: Hours are set shifts and do not rotate:

  • AM - Mon - Thurs 5.45am - 2.30pm and Fri 5.54am - 12.45pm.
  • Days - Mon - Fri 7.45pm - 5pm.
  • PM - Mon - Thurs 2.30pm - 1am.

Stafflex is currently recruiting for experienced Assemblers / Machine Operatives, on behalf of our well-established manufacturer. If you are a motivated individual with great attention to detail and want to build a career, this opportunity is for you!

Duties:

  • Assembling products.
  • Testing products in accordance with the company's standard procedures and quality standards.
  • Feeding machines with raw material.
  • Use of woodworking machinery such as: CNC Router Machines, Lathes, 4 sided planers / moulders, Trimming machines etc…
  • Use of power / hand-held tools such as: Nail guns, Screwdrivers, Circular saws, Sanders etc…

Essential competencies include:

  • Previous assembly / machine experience
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to understand job sheets and technical aspect
  • Strong Numeracy and Literacy skills
