Job Description

Stafflex Education is working in partnership with a specialist nurture school in Huddersfield.

A great opportunity has arisen for a Catering and Behaviour Support Worker to start from September 2017 with a view to continue for at least a term.

This specialist nurture academy which accepts pupils with complex SEMH difficulties provides a secure and happy atmosphere in which pupils can learn effectively.

Your day to day duties will include working in the school kitchen from 8am-2pm Monday to Friday. The role involves basic preparation, delivery and clearing away of food, this duel role will also include elements of behaviour support. You will support children with preparation of the food and during lunch times contributing to the emotional, social and educational development of the children.

You and the expert teaching and support staff at this academy will provide opportunities and facilities for pupils to develop special interests and talents through a range of extracurricular activities.

You will ideally hold a Team Teach and food hygiene certificate, as well as a relevant support worker qualification and recent experience working with similar leaners.
