Commercial Gas Engineer
Permanent + Upto £34,000 + Overtime


Our client brings together over 50 years of expertise in compressed air ,cooling/refrigeration technologies and commercial gas providing a comprehensive range of services from planed routine maintenance, repairs, energy auditing, right through to the design and installation of turnkey solutions.

Must be Gas Safety Registered and have a clean and valid UK drivers license. Commercial Gas qualifications are essential, domestic gas qualifications are desired but not essential. IPAF also desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Commercial Gas Engineer duties includes, but not limited to, the following:
Carrying out annual services and scheduled maintenance visits to a high standard in accordance with Health & Safety.
Completing Gas Safety Certificates, surveys and/or any other relevant documents upon completion of any works.
Installation of new Heating and Hot Water systems.
Preparing equipment schedules, compiling data sheets for systems.
Diagnosing and identifying faults with equipment and systems. Ordering parts and materials with suppliers and contacting manufacturers to query warranties, faults etc.
Carry out maintenance plumbing jobs.
Have a high level of customer service and build rapport with customers whilst representing the company to the best of your ability.
Attend scheduled Training courses when necessary to ensure skills and qualifications are up to date and to maintain H&S requirements.
Utilise all available support to effect fast and efficient diagnosis and repair.
Normal working hours are Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4.30PM - 40 hours per week.
Expected to occasionally be on call during at nights and on weekends (call out fees and premium rates of pay apply).

Knowledge and Skills:

All Commercial Gas Engineer candidates must have strong experience working at Commercial scale and possess the following qualifications: -
CODNC01 (Domestic to Commercial)
Commercial Gas safe registered
Accomplished in faulty finding and diagnosing errors
Punctual and have excellent time keeping skills
Ability to work alone as well as within a team
Hold a valid UK Drivers License
Highly motivated and keen to work to highest standard at all times, regardless of working environments.
Have good communication skills, oral and written skills
