Embroidery Machinist

Location: Huddersfield

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Duration: Temporary, minimum of 2 months.

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced Embroidery Machinist to join our client's production team. This role is suited to someone with commercial embroidery experience, particularly on multi-head industrial machines.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating multi-head embroidery machines (4 or 6 heads) in a fast-paced production environment. All logos are pre-computerised; however, the role involves full machine operation from setup to quality control.

Key duties include:

• Operating industrial multi-head embroidery machines
• Threading machines and setting up programmes
• Running embroidery programmes efficiently and accurately
• Removing finished garments and carrying out quality checks
• Re-setting machines ready for the next run
• Working in a repetitive, clockwork-style process where one machine is running while another is being reset

This is a hands-on, repetitive role that requires focus, consistency, and good time management.

Experience Required

• Previous industry experience is essential
• Experience using Happy or Barudan embroidery machines is highly desirable
• Home or hobby-based embroidery experience is not suitable for this role, as machines are industrial multi-head
