Job Description

Our client based in Halifax specialise in all aspects of HGV Trailer repair and maintenance and ultimately provide total trailer support. .

Customers include national rental fleets and renowned UK and European trailer manufacturers .

Applicants should have years of experience and be skilled in all aspects of trailer repairs and systems including: ABS/EBS, suspension, braking & steering systems, together with various type of bodies and components.

Main role responsibilities
-Maintenance and repair of all types of trailers.
-Conducting routine inspections and Pre-MOT inspections as necessary.
-Diagnosing trailer defects.
-Comprehensive completion of all documentation including worksheets.
-Client on-site repairs as necessary.
-Able to work under own initiative and as a team member as required.

The right individual should be able to work on-site, unsupervised under own initiative when required and have good customer communication skills.

A full (preferably clean) driving licence is essential and HGV licence would be an advantage. Candidates should be physically fit and prepared to undertake a wide variety of tasks both individually and as part of our team.

There is also a regular requirement for working at heights using our specialist equipment.
