IT Technical Support

Huddersfield

Full Time Monday - Friday

Up to £20K DEO

Our client is a specialist provider of outsourcing and distributing computing and telephony services to Charities, Local Businesses and Schools. They are looking for someone to join the IT Technical Support team to help support the ICT needs of existing and new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Installation of software applications, configuring virtual server environments and ensuring secure IT networks and environments, some of which will involve site visits
  • Hardware installation including creating or adapting networks
  • Providing 1st line Technical Support to clients
  • Escalating complex queries to 2nd line team and working with and learning from this team
  • Remotely accessing customers Servers and Workstations to resolve any issues
  • Working closely with senior engineers both on and off site to develop a firm understanding customer systems and requirements
