Payroll Bureau Administrator - Huddersfield - Permanent - Salary up to £22k

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a permanent Payroll Clerk. This practice requires a confident individual to look after their clients, dealing with a range of industries.

Job Description:

This role will focus on payroll, you will be expected to -

  • Deliver an accurate, efficient and timely payroll service
  • Ensure that payrolls are compliant with current PAYE legislation
  • Process and maintain client payrolls, understanding their expectations and requests
  • Manage and resolve payroll queries
  • Follow internal policies and procedures
  • To work with and support team members

The Candidate:

Experience of payroll processing in a multi-client environment is essential; you must have knowledge with UK PAYE legislation and be able to manually calculate tax, NI deductions, SMP, SSP etc. If you have used Excel to an intermediate level, this would be advantageous.
