Job Description

Production Operatives - Days and Nights


Pay: £11.44p/h - £12.44p/h
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5PM (Days), Monday - Thursday 5pm - 5am (Nights) - Shifts are set shifts and do not rotate.
Location: Huddersfield, HD7
Job Type: Temporary - Ongoing

Stafflex are actively looking for Production Operatives to join our client who are a UK-based formulation plant with 30 years of history in the production of chemicals and plant protection products.

Duties:

  • Carbon blending (mixing chemicals and liquids - can be a messy job but all appropriate PPE provided)
  • Filling buckets - Physical / heavy lifting involved
  • Working outdoors / in cool environments
  • Working on filling lines
  • Quality checking
  • Labelling
  • Wrapping
  • Packing

Essential qualities:

  • Candidates must be flexible,
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen and willing to learn and develop
  • Candidates must be able to work in cold environments as some work is based in the yard outside and also must be ok with messy jobs, some jobs create a lot of liquid / dust which can wet /cover overalls and get hands (gloves) mucky etc..
