Job Description

Sales Coordinator

Location: Mytholmroyd, HX7, West Yorkshire

Salary: £24k P/A starting (with OTE up to £28k)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; Friday: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm (45-minute lunches)

Permanent

This is a 100% site-based role

Our client, operating for several decades, deals with a diverse range of products sold through renowned retailers and platforms. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our client's team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on building and managing client relationships, processing orders, upselling products, and exploring new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing existing client accounts and internet retailers
  • Processing customer orders efficiently
  • Identifying upsell opportunities
  • Introducing new product ranges to clients
  • Balancing 80% of the role on existing client management and 20% on prospecting new businesses
  • Utilising an established client database for sales activities

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an office environment, with a focus on customer service and effective communication
  • Resilience and a proactive attitude towards achieving sales targets
  • Sales background and track record of successful sales
  • Strong motivation and willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
