The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step in to ensure learning continues in the absence of the usual teacher. Your role will involve:

  • Supervising classrooms and keeping students engaged and on task
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
  • Creating a calm, positive, and focused learning environment
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Reporting back to teachers on progress and any concerns

What We're Looking For

  • Proven Experience - previous work as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom role
  • Strong Behaviour Management Skills - confident, calm, and professional in the classroom
  • Adaptability - able to follow lesson plans in a variety of schools
  • DBS Check - valid enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
