Science Teacher in Access to Higher Education

Stafflex Education is working in partnership with our long standing client to appoint an ongoing part time Biology specialist from October 2017.

The Access to Higher Education department is keen for a highly motivated teacher to join their successful team. If you are motivated to inspire and raise aspirations for learners through your enthusiasm and knowledge then this setting and role is for you.

Based in the centre of Huddersfield and close to local transport links this post 16 setting will enable you to work with a wide range of people of all ages and backgrounds. Past experience in teaching and delivering Access and Level 5 programmes is essential. Ideally you will have also worked with the Awarding Body Certa.

Within this teaching role your duties will include delivering the curriculum in line with the Awarding Body requirements, setting and monitoring work, as well as marking and contributing to the administrative tasks of the team. Full training on all systems and procedures will be provided by the experienced team that you will work with on a daily basis.
