SEN Behaviour Support Workers and Learning Mentors
Working in collaboration with a successfully improving Special School, Stafflex are pleased to announce the following vacancies:

I am looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive difference and seeing children's lives turned around but am especially keen to hear from any one with experience in working with children on the Autistic Spectrum. With your experience in Behaviour Management / SEN / Mental Health, positive behaviour handling strategies and Mentoring you could help young people by giving them an opportunity to see life differently.
I believe if you are able to work holistically, are emotionally resilient, non-judgemental, understanding and patient then these are the right positions for you. These young people range from 5 to 19 years old and need someone to look beyond the externally presented issues of a child with SEN but who sees the child inside.
You will inspire children to trust others. You'll help remove barriers to education, help them overcome their barriers to learning and provide opportunities they would never have thought of. But most importantly, you will be that person who never gave up, always believed and was always there for them.
If you are a professional that likes a challenge and wants to make a real difference in the lives of some vulnerable children you will need to:

Have experience in supporting education in Key stages 1, 2, 3 and 4
Have experience in managing challenging behaviours
Be resilient and adapt to various situations
Team Teach qualified
Student-centred and holistic
Anti-oppressive and non-judgemental practitioner
Be prepared to give second, third and fourth chances
Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection
