Job Description


Stafflex Education work in close collaboration with a Further Education College who require a SEND Lead to work at their site in Huddersfield. The SEND Lead role involves focusing on the support provided for Learning Difficulties and Disabilities, ensuring that SEND learners achieve their outcomes.

The main duties of this ole include:

  • Line manage SEND Support team.
  • Complete staff timetables and ensure all students can access the support identified.
  • Plan and organise additional activities for students as appropriate (1:1s, small groups) to support skill development e.g. study skills, exam preparation.
  • Provide in class support, a minimum of 40% of your time.
  • Participate in the initial meeting, information gathering and assessment of learners.
  • Work with others to ensure plans and strategies are put in place.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and minimum level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
