Job Description

Warehouse / FLT Driver

Location: Brighouse

Pay: £12.50p/h

Duration: Temporary contract till end of year but will likely lead to permanent position.

Hours of work: 8am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri

Stafflex are actively recruiting on behalf of our client, successfully supplying the finest commodities and ingredients to food manufacturing, wholesale, foodservice, ethnic and retail markets, for over 30 years.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Operate Reach and Counterbalance FLT
  • Receive goods at the loading/receiving area.
  • Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
  • Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Load goods onto trucks for shipping.
  • Manual handling duties.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for shipments and orders.

Essential skills needed for the role:

  • Counterbalance FLT license (valid and in-date, RTITB / ITSSAR)
  • Reach FLT license (valid and in-date, RTITB / ITSSAR)
  • Good IT Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word) for data entry and inventory.

The successful candidate will need to hold both Reach and CB FLT licenses. Manual Handling experience is advantageous. Please be aware this job does involve a lot of truck work but not solely FLT driving and will require you work flexibly within the warehouse / production department as and when needed.
