WELDER / FABRICATOR / BODYSHOP ENGINEER
Our prestigious client based in Halifax is currently looking to recruit an experienced Welder/Fabricator/Bodyshop Engineer.
The ideal candidate should be adaptable, keen to learn new skills along with producing quality repairs to a very high standard. You should be able to work on your own initiative and also contribute ideas to the existing team. You should be skilled in various aspects of Fabrication and able to weld steel & aluminium using MIG sets to a high standard. Some site work is required and candidates should be comfortable working at heights. A knowledge of commercial vehicle/trailer repair or body building would be an advantage, however, our client will consider candidates who have transferable skills from another engineering sector. This position will not suit a production or 'bench' welder as there is very little repetitive or routine work!

Having worked in this field for many years, the Company has gained a reputation for quality and reliability which is unrivalled and as such have a very loyal custom base which gives our client a steady flow of work.
Candidates must be physically fit, hold a current UK driving licence and be able to work well as part of a small but hugely skilled and experienced team.
Hours of work
Working hours are: 5 days a week 8.30 until 5.00 (40 hours per week)
limited overtime available
Required Skills and Qualifications
Full and rounded understanding of Mig welding and structural steel fabrication.
Previous trailer experience would be desirable but not essential.
Full clean driving licence
28 days holiday
