Brian joins University Business School’s Entrepreneur in Residence scheme

Stafflex Managing Director Brian Stahelin joins the Huddersfield University Business School’s new Entrepreneurs in Residence scheme will allow students to gain an insight into how four local entrepreneurs use the classroom theory to make business decisions.

The Huddersfield Business School are passionate about providing students with industry knowledge to enhance their learning experience and help translate classroom theory into real world business strategies.

The scheme will take place across the academic year through a variety of means such as coaching, mentoring, guest seminars and many more.

Brian has been involved in the recruitment industry since 1975 covering most employment sectors in the UK. This has included business start-ups, acquisitions and sales including contributing to local and national debate on employment matters.

Starting on the ground floor of the recruitment profession, Brian has worked at most executive levels informing his knowledge and experience which has been used as start-up Mentor, Chair of School Governing bodies as well as Non-Executive Director/Trustee of various organisations.

  • Krishna Patel, founder of Dilishque Curry Paste, a family-owned business based in Yorkshire
  • Adnan Rasool , founder of Splashes & Spills with his brother Adal in 2015
