Stafflex is rapidly expanding the scope and scale of its activity following 25 new client wins for the engineering team in the past 12 months.

Stafflex launched the engineering sector in July 2017 and has seen fantastic growth placing over 200 workers into various manufacturing positions across engineering companies in West Yorkshire.

The engineering team which consists of project manager, Graham Black and Business Development Executive, Lydia Yorke-Brown provide temporary and permanent recruitment solutions dealing with a variety of roles from shop floor skilled trades to supervisory and management positions.

Stafflex’s new client wins include notable companies in its portfolio such as Archway Engineering (UK) Limited, one of the UK's leading manufacturer of Geotechnical and site investigation drilling equipment, as well as long established precision sheet metal work company, Salamander Fabrications.

Another one of Stafflex’s new client appointments, VFS North, one of the largest commercial vehicles converters in the region, recently built a brand-new conversion facility based near Pontefract and Stafflex placed a large number of the workers on that site.

Gary Myers, General Manager at VFS North said: "Stafflex put the right people in the right positions. The majority of the staff placed with us are now permanent members within the company which really reinforces their credentials as a first class recruiter.”

Graham Black, Project Manager at Stafflex said: “This is a very exciting time for us with such an influx of new clients it really is a testament to the how hard the team have worked over the last year.

“We’re really looking forward to building on the recent success and continue the momentum into 2019.”
