Stafflex features on Huddersfield Edition of Monopoly

Stafflex will appear on the newly released Huddersfield Edition of Monopoly which is officially for sale following its release on Friday 19 October.

Huddersfield came on top against 30 shortlisted towns in the North, and then won a fan vote-off with Halifax to be given the country’s most popular board game. Mr Monopoly himself came to town to unveil the new board at the launch event.

It is believed that the international fame of Huddersfield Station's railway cat and social media star Felix as well as the town’s promotion to the Premier League helped beat off the competition.

Stafflex is featured on the red section of the board next to which is for local businesses. In total more than 30 Huddersfield favourites and landmarks, including three local charities, get to star on the new official board.

Managing Director, Brian Stahelin commented: “We think of ourselves not just as a recruitment agency, but as part of the community having placing thousands of people in roles over the last 18 years, so it only makes sense that Stafflex has a place on the board!”

The board game is available for purchase at all major retailers and is expected to be one of the best-selling games at Christmas.
