The initiative run by the REC, the professional body for the UK’s £36 billion private recruitment industry, is the most comprehensive audit of its kind and is used validate compliance with industry legislation.

REC Audited requires recruitment businesses to demonstrate they are operating best practice in a variety of areas such as customer service, staff development and diversity.

It provides successful recruiters with an accreditation that confirms the agency is conducting its business ethically, in accordance with the legal requirements and with the REC Code.

Deputy MD and Compliance Director Abigail Stahelin-Hall commented: “We are delighted to have retained this recognised kite mark of excellence as it reinforces the fact that we are performing to the highest professional standards and represents best practice in our sector.”

“Our clients can be confident they are using an accredited supplier that is accountable to a professional body.”

Stafflex has also been selected as an Approved Supply Teachers Framework Supplier. Introduced last year, the framework is an agreement between the UK Government, Department for Education and suppliers allowing schools, academies and other education organisations the ability to find temporary staff quickly, compliantly and cost efficiently from an approved list of suppliers.
