Stafflex has announced it will be sponsoring the Artisan Zone at this summer’s highly anticipated Food and Drink Festival held at St. George’s Square between 2nd – 5th August.
The Huddersfield Food and Drink Festival is one of the largest of it’s kind in the UK, regularly attracting crowds of over 120,000 featuring over 100 local stalls with entertainment including live music, circus skills, face painting as well as a host of other activities.
The Artisan Zone is a dedicated area of market stalls for small businesses in Huddersfield. The area offers discounted setup costs for businesses enabling them to sell unique, locally produced food and drink to the public which would have otherwise been out of their budget.
Stafflex are one of the founding partners of Huddersfield Live, the not for profits event company behind the Food and Drink Festival as well as other exciting events around the town.
Nemi Alexis, Marketing Executive at Stafflex said: “We’re thrilled to be supporting the Artisan Zone at this year’s festival. It’s really important that we recognize the smaller businesses in our town and give them a platform to showcase their goods and grow as a business.”
Poppy Stahelin, Director at Huddersfield Live said: “We are extremely grateful for the generous support Stafflex has given us over the years. They have a rich history of supporting the community and this perfectly aligns with our aims as festival’s organisers to promote Huddersfield as well as raising the profile of local businesses.”
