COMPLIANCE & SAFEGUARDING
Safeguarding children and quality recruitment of teachers and support staff is of paramount importance to Stafflex Education.
It is our policy to ensure that all relevant checks are carried out by staff that are trained in procedures and understand their responsibilities in line with both DfE (Department for Education) and REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) guidelines.
ROBUST COMPLIANCE CHECKS
All of our education candidates are fully vetted during the registration process which includes enhanced DBS, face to face interviews, employer access checks and references.
The following checks apply to all staff and are completed prior to placement:
Face to face interview
Clear Barred list check
Hold Current DBS through Stafflex or 3rd party and on the update service
Overseas police clearance or letter of good conduct
Qualifications verified
Two written references
Signed Rehabilitation of the Offenders Act statement
TRA Employer Access (if applicable)
Have permission to work in the UK
Identity checks
Various declarations signed - including living with disqualified workers, rehabilitations of offenders act, declaration of convictions and more.
