Christmas card competition 2021 - winners announced!

We are delighted to announce the winners and runner-ups for the fourth Stafflex Education Christmas Card Competition:

 

Winners:

Primary – Aaron (age 9) from St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy

Judge’s comments: “Really peaceful and tranquil and effective in its simplicity.”

 

Secondary – Aida (age 12) from Moor End Academy

Judge’s comments: “I liked the holy and foliage, very wintery.”

 

The winning schools receive £200 art supplies and the artists receive £20 gift cards.

 

Runner-ups:

Primary – Laiba (age 10) from Headfield Junior School

Judge’s comments: “This one just seemed to summarise the excitement of Christmas.”

 

Secondary – Zainab (Age 15) from Thornhill Community Academy

Judge’s comments: “A beautiful scene!”

 

The runner-up schools receive £100 art supplies and the artists receive £10 gift cards.

 

Special thanks to Nicola Barr, Head of Business Development and Operations at Huddersfield Town Foundation for helping out with the judging process.

The winning cards will be used as the official Stafflex Christmas card for 2021 and will be sent to thousands of clients and candidates over the festive period.

All four shortlisted cards will also be displayed at the Huddersfield Winter Festival at St. George’s Square so make sure to keep an eye out if you visit the tipi over the festive period!
